Kilgetty AFC Donate Footballs For Kenya Community Projects

Kilgetty AFC have donated a large box of size one footballs to Lox Busisa, who is travelling to Kenya in April.
Lox will be leaving Pembrokeshire with his Father-in-law Steve Blunt on 11th April, they will be travelling in a group including 5 teenagers and 15 adults going first to to Nairobi, then Kilifi.

During the two week trip, the group will be building toilets for disabled children and water tanks to harvest water from the rain and painting the Community Centre. In addition, they will run a medical camp, as well and training sessions teaching the correct handling of people with different special needs in communities.

Lox was born in Kenya. He spent his childhood and early adulthood living in the slums. Facing many tough times, Lox's Christian faith, determination, and hard work led him to be in a position to help others facing hard times.
Lox met his wiife Ruth who is from Maenclochog, when she was working in Kenya. Since then the couple have been working with local people in Kenya through their charity Love Your Neighbour. They offer practical support, giving people hope and opportunities. Over the last year Love Your Neighbour has been collecting and working with Clynfyw in shipping mobility aids to Kenya too.

Lox is a keen footballer and uses football as a tool to unite people and give them a positive focus. Equipment is often sparce, and people play football using balls made from rubbish, so Kilgetty AFC's donation of mini footballs for the Kenya Community Projects are much appreciated and will be put to good use.
