October

Jesus told a parable about a 'Persistent Widow'. She was persistent because she had a problem and she needed help.

Sometimes life is hard, we go through things we lose our hope, our tempers and patience. We have to learn. We need time to seek God's guidance. Sometimes it's a test of perseverance.

Paul preached in the most difficult of circumstances, in prison, during a shipwreck and in persecution.

We all need to endure to succeed and remember we can do ALL things throughout Christ who strengthens us. If we are patient in our troubles we will preserver and gain hope.

God doesn't give us patience, it is earned through circumstance and perseverance. When we are weak, in Christ, then we are strong.

Small children are persistent and needy, this is how we should be. We are in a new covenant relationship with God, our Father.

The judge gave in to persistence from the widow, he acted, not because of goodness, but to shut her up! When you have troubles going to our God who loves us, persist!

If someone is sick, pray. Pray persistently, be active, on the attack. According to God's Word, we're running a race. Get rid of burdens that hold us back and focus on the finish. If we follow God we WILL win. Persist in prayer, you are only one prayer away from a breakthrough.

Elijah prayed it wouldn't rain and it didn't for over three years! Sometimes it's one prayer that breaks the situation, sometimes it's persistent prayer.

Is your need great today? Pray, pray with persistence! Hit it hard with the prayer hammer. If you won't be moved pray the mountain will move! Take it to God, ask, seek and knock, remember God is always with you. Never give up, don't stop. Always push. Just believe and persist in prayer today!
