"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him....."Psalms 37:7 NKJV

The longest wait on God was 400 years.
If you look on line it appears there are endless "messages from God", I'm dubious of many of them!
Often we have to wait for God's answer or direction.
If you are wanting for an answer, or change it may be a test. This can make you stronger, you can't rush God.
There's still work to be done while we wait.
Many wait on God for this virus to end, for everything there is a season, it will end.

Joseph waited in prison for years, eventually he became the 2nd in command. Joseph didn't give up, he held on to God.
God's timing brings blessings to us, in His perfect timing.
We've all lost patience, shouted at God, asking where He is.
Waiting is about renewing, it's like rewiring our brain; having confidant expectations of the goodness of God.

Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. It hurts waiting! That's natural.

David was "sinking and worn out"... "I am weary with my crying; My throat is dry; My eyes fail while I wait for my God.
Psalm 69. Yet he still waits for God.

When you endure, you will be rewarded.

False prophesy, accusations, may come, our faith is in God, not man. If someone tells you something, test it with God's Word.
When people believe they are cleverer than God it's not going to help or save them. We live in a time when truth is whatever you want it to be. Yet God says "lean not on your own understanding"

Don't try to be clever! Look to God for direction and trust in His ways.
There are consequences to not waiting, be patient. If God says wait, then wait! God can do more than we ask or think.

I once ran ahead of God, God told me straight and made me realise. I cried and apologised to God, then my hands were literally burning with God's touch! Now I stay beside, or behind God.

Test every piece of advice with God's Word. Obey God, wait and believe in His goodness today.

You've all heard the saying that an English man's home is his castle, or in our case, Welsh!

The laws then stated nobody was allowed into the castles without consent. These strongholds and castles were built everywhere. The castle residents came out to steal and destroy...but they were often defeated, broken down!

What about the strongholds in our minds? The weapons of God can bring down all that ensnares us.

What is a stronghold? Something that has a grip on us. There are battles going on constantly. We are surrounded by doors allowing the devil in: drugs, pornography, fear, religion, occult, tarot, fortune tellers. The enemy is always recruiting through his evil ways, we can over come the works of the enemy through Jesus Christ!

Fear is the most common stronghold. How did it get in, it's a spirit, but we can smash through it. Fear is invisible but fear not for God will uphold us with His "righteous right hand" Fear can be described as: False Evidence Appearing Real.

In all things we are more than conquerors, the power in the name of Jesus is above ALL things. Fear, addiction, bad habits have no place in your life.

Jesus's name is above ALL. Jesus's authority was recognised by evil spirits but often missed by the "religious leaders".
Either Jesus has a stronghold on you, or the enemy has a stronghold on you.

Rule your own emotions or you are like a city with no wall.

Size, strength or time whatever stronghold has captured you is irrelevant, Jesus can set you free. It's a constant battle. Trust in the name of Jesus.
Listen, believe, act and receive the power of Jesus in your life.

Look at castles, they were strongholds that are now destroyed, so all strongholds can be destroyed in Jesus's name, whose name is like a tower that can't be pulled down! Trust in Him today.
